Drug detection dogs – also known as PAD dogs – are used on the public transport system in New South Wales. Are drug detection dogs something we might see in Victoria? Can police simply stop and search anyone if they think they’re carrying illicit drugs? (Link: Victorian Drugs Poisons and Controlled Substances Act.)

Anyone who’s applied for an Intervention Order in the Magistrates’ Court will tell you it’s a bureaucratic, complex process. Now, the Neighbourhood Justice Centre in Collingwood has introduced an online application system to make the process more accessible for victims of family violence. Ron and David explain how this will be of enormous benefit to the community.
